Good evening EPSA families,

In this unprecedented time, we hope this message finds everyone doing well, staying healthy and staying safe.

As you are aware, the COVID-19 situation has been changing rapidly from day to day. Governor Walz has mandated a "Shelter-in-Place" for the state of Minnesota.  With both factors in mind, the EPSA Board of Directors recently held a meeting to discuss the impact this will have on the 2020 Spring Season.

In our previous update, we were following the MYSA guidelines.  They have recently updated to state that there is a potential to resume activities in early to mid-May.  Even if we would follow their guidelines, it would leave us with only a few weeks to play, as we cannot extend our season.  The EPSA Board of Directors has made the decision to cancel the 2020 Spring Season, which includes all games, practices, coaching clinics and referee clinics.

Our leadership team is heartbroken regarding this decision, but everyone's safety and health is our number one priority.  In the meantime, please practice social distancing, be safe, stay strong and stay healthy.
